Comic:
Happy 50th Comic… Day? Remember those few times I’ve apologized for a comic being big and taking a long time to download? Well take that apology (which was totally sincere) and multiply it by, like, 5. Anyway, sorry this took so long. I was working on it at every opportunity I had, but it’s springtime in Oklahoma, which means everyone BUT ME constantly gets sick and I’m the only one that can take care of them. I also had to make heavy upgrades/repairs to my computer which set me back a few days. I don’t have any other excuses, so let’s move on…

50 comics may not initially seem like a number to celebrate, but when you consider my comics are on AVERAGE 9 or 10 panels (which is how many panels go into 3 of your standard 3-panel comics), I figure it’s something to celebrate. Look, just let me have this, ok?

But what you’re probably more interested in are the bonus comics. I’m not certain how many I’ll do. At least 3. As for the update schedule, each will basically be uploaded as soon as it’s finished, but no later than the following Friday/Tuesday.

What more is there to say for a 50-comic celebration? I’ve loved drawing these comics and the people I’ve met along the way, I can say. What would I change? I’d have updated more, but that couldn’t have been helped. What WILL I change? I’d like to incorporate more comics with Kakujo in them, but actually make them funny/interesting. So far, his comics are the ones I most quickly get bored of.

In other news, I’ve begun peddling donation wallpapers. Everything’s explained on the Coin Jar page. That said, the final panel of THIS comic will be available at full-res as a wallpaper at the end of the month. If there are ever any panels in any of my comics that you’d like to see as a wallpaper or shirt, send me an email. If I get enough demand for it, I’ll transform it into such.

Video Games:
There’s not much to report. I haven’t been able to play much, these past few weeks. I’ve been able to record some Minecraft videos, but sadly I have not played much else.

I’m really looking FORWARD to playing Fez, Persona 3 FES, and all the games I record, but that might not come into full-swing until after I’m done with the bonus update schedule.

Life:
The PC upgrades I made were pretty much across the board. This thing retains a FEW pieces of its former self, but otherwise it’s a completely new PC. Happily, with this, I’m able to once again record my drawings, so look for KJ Vlogs in the near future.

Oh, and if you don’t “Like” KakuJomics’ Facebook page or follow me on Twitter, you won’t have heard the good news: I cut back my work hours by a LOT. Now, I have significantly more time to put towards the comic, and I’m really excited to see where this leads KakuJomics.

Closing Comments:
With this comic finished and the big “5-0” mark crossed, I feel oddly refreshed and more eager to improve my skills than ever. Thank you all so much for your support; I’m so glad doing this thing I love has led me to meet and be supported by so many amazing people.

In any case, I’ll get started on those bonus comics, tomorrow. Tonight? I feel like having a bit o’ sake and FINALLY enjoying a video game.
