This is real and it’s like my uncle has become a raging alcoholic.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for a developer or publisher retorting at a review. I think the whole “they’ll review your game and you just quietly accept it” thing is garbage. But let’s get real man-babby here: If Sonic were real, he wouldn’t hold on to something like that. That’s how he’s always been. Full of ‘tude and running fast to the next thing. If it had been Sega’s own account, I doubt I’d care as much. Sega’s known for their dislike of the press.
However, as much as I thought the account had been hacked, it’s been 3 days and it’s still going strong at it. I guess I could imagine Sega going “Screw it. Sonic’s in the trash. Let’s just go full meme.”
So whatever. I guess this is life, now. Welcome to 2015, humans. Sonic has gone full meme.

Poor, poor Sonic. Forced to live the life of a hobo. It’s Sega’s fault, mind you. Their shady deals and “story book” games stopped the blue blur dead in his tracks. All while watching his buddy, sometimes rival, Mario, living the high life. Drinking 1-ups and snorting cake off young impressionable princesses. Sonic just wants things to go back to the way they were, before Knuckles started taking Steroids, before Robotnik turned into a slob of a man who just eats eggs all the time. He wants his life back… He drinks to remember, and he drinks to forget.

I hope someone describes my life in Sonic metaphors after I’m dead.
